This Privacy Policy explains how the Golden Kundli SYSTEM ("Golden Kundli", "we", "our") handles your information. By using the SYSTEM you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the SYSTEM.
1. What Golden Kundli is
Golden Kundli is a spiritual, cultural, and self-reflection guidance SYSTEM for Indians and NRIs worldwide. It prepares personalized Kundli, Jathakam, Jathagam, Jataka, Vastu, Numerology, Muhurat, and Daily Darshan content from the details you provide. It is not a professional advisory service and does not guarantee outcomes.
2. Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, encrypted password, preferred language, and display country. We use this to identify your account, secure access, and tailor the SYSTEM to your context.
3. Profile and sub-profile information
You can create sub-profiles for yourself and family members. For each profile we may collect: display name, relationship to you, date of birth, time of birth, birth place, mother tongue, current city and country, NRI status, current life focus, and any other context you choose to provide. This information is used solely to personalise your content.
4. Child and dependent sub-profile information
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right or permission to provide another person's information. If you enter information about a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian or otherwise legally authorized to provide that information. We do not knowingly collect information from children without parental or guardian authorisation.
5. Birth details
Birth details (date, time, place) are the core input for astrological and numerological content preparation. Where your date of birth is provided without an exact time, we note this and adjust output accordingly. Birth details are stored securely and used only to prepare and re-deliver your content.
6. Uploaded horoscope, kundli, jathakam, and other files
If you upload a horoscope, kundli, jathakam, jathagam, or similar document or image, we store it in your account so it can be used to improve your personalized content. Uploaded files are stored for one year from upload. Please download and keep a copy of anything you wish to retain permanently.
7. Generated Free Mini Granths and Full Premium Granths
Free Mini Granths and Full Premium Granths are personalized PDF files prepared from your profile and inputs. These files are stored securely in your dashboard for one year from the date of generation. After one year, expired files are deleted from our systems. Please download and save any file you wish to keep permanently. We do not guarantee re-generation at the same price or on the same timeline.
8. Chatbot interactions
If you use the Golden Guide (public chatbot) or the Golden Navigator (dashboard chatbot), your messages are processed to generate a response. Conversation history may be stored temporarily to improve context within a session. We do not sell chatbot conversation data.
9. Wallet and payment information
When payments are enabled, payment transactions are processed through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We store order metadata (product, amount, status, reference). Wallet or credit balance, if offered in future, is stored in your account. Paid features are currently disabled in this version of the SYSTEM.
10. Contact, support, and ticket data
When you contact us through the contact form or support tickets, we collect your name, email, message, topic, and any optional details you provide (phone, country). We use this data to respond to your enquiry and improve the SYSTEM.
11. Device and session information
We collect active session information including a device identifier, browser type, operating system, a hashed network address, and last-active time. This is used to secure your account, limit concurrent devices, and detect unusual activity. You can review and remove devices on the My Devices page in your dashboard.
12. Push notification subscriptions
If you enable push notifications, we store your push subscription token to deliver reminders, Daily Darshan updates, and order notifications. You can opt out at any time from notification settings in your dashboard or device settings.
13. Third-party providers
Hosting and database: We use cloud infrastructure to host the SYSTEM and store your data securely.
Payment processor: Stripe processes payments when payments are enabled. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data they handle.
Astrology calculation provider: When enabled (not in the current development state), birth details needed for a calculation are sent securely to a third-party astrology API. We store the results so we can prepare and re-deliver your content without unnecessary recalculation.
Email and notification providers: If used for transactional emails or push notifications, relevant identifiers may be shared with these providers.
AI and automation providers: Golden Kundli may use automated and AI-assisted technologies to prepare, explain, translate, format, and personalise guidance. See our Automation Disclosure for details.
14. File retention
Generated and uploaded files are stored for one year from the date of creation or upload. After this period, files are deleted from our storage systems. You are responsible for downloading and keeping any file you wish to retain permanently. We will not restore deleted files after expiry.
15. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including: access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing. You can also opt out of push notifications at any time. To exercise any right, use the Delete My Data page, your account settings, or contact us via the Contact page.
16. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted password storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
17. International users
Golden Kundli serves users worldwide, including India, the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, and other countries. By using the SYSTEM, you consent to the processing of your information in the country where our services are hosted. We aim to meet GDPR and other relevant data protection obligations for users in applicable regions.
